It is major problem for almost all the teenagers, not only in this country, but also in all parts of the globe. Everyone wants to get rid of it! In fact, there is a wide variety of things that can actually help you cure it. You can make a paste or mask from different kinds of plants and herbs or just buy non-prescription products on the nearest store. However,You should know that these are just meant to handle mild to moderate acne problems. So, when these products and procedures are not working well for you, it is advisable to see and consult a doctor for advise.

There are really extreme cases when acne can't be treated just by self medication. Your doctors can offer you a more potent drug, or he/she can suggest another good option - acne laser treatment. In our present day, technology is changing our world faster than we think! Through the advance of science, we can now take advantage of laser technology further in medical operations. Medical specialists say that undergoing acne laser treatment is one of the most advance and, probably, the most effective treatment you can have to totally get rid of acne today. This amazing procedure will surely give hope to people who are greatly suffering with their zits. We have already used laser treatment on acne scarring successfully for years, but it is truly a breakthrough to be used in treating existing acne. The question now is how can acne laser treatment actually cure acne? Is it safe and effective?

How can that be?
Acne LASER Treatment is done by applying extreme thermal or heat effect on the sebaceous glands in order to damage it. Studies prove that the laser equipment used in the operation can actually do four treatments in one-month intervals. Statistics shows that 16 out of 17 patients got a 100% success on clearing the face. Test through skin biopsy immediately afterwards the operations revealed that the sebaceous glands showed alterations caused by the induced heat, decreasing the production of oil. Immediate proofs that acne laser treatment is taking a postive effect!

Two Types of LASER
In performing acne laser treatments, doctors are actually using two types of lasers. One type deal with the inhibition of the bacterial growth that causes skin problems, while the other is made to work with the sebaceous glands in order to reduce the production of oil in particular parts of the body especially the face.

Still Under investigation
Even if it already proved to be a success on totally eradicating your acne, doctors admitted that acne laser treatment is still under research to further study its short and long-time effects. Thus, it is still not available yet for widely use to everyone. The patients should also know that insurance is not covered in the acne laser treatment and that not all states can distinguish who are and who are not allowed to perform operations using laser. Medical specialists also warn that procedures that require the use of laser should be done by qualified physicians only. It is also suggested that you should ask for the qualification of the one that will do the operation before undergoing acne laser treatment.

How many? for how long?
Your doctor might suggest that you undergo acne laser treatment for about 5 months, one treatment every month, in order to get satisfying results. However, if zits reappear, additional acne laser treatment done periodically will be required.

How does it feel?
You might wonder how it feels undergoing the procedure. Well, most patients say that acne laser treatment will give you a rubberband-like sensation during the operation. If ever you find this uncomfortable, you are given the choice to have topical anesthetic cream applied directly on your skin.

Which are the best acne treatments? It really depends.

This author has taken a different tack on the problem and is worth the read.
by: Peter Crump
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it’s not as simple as just listing the best acne treatments. That’s not because there’s no good acne treatments available, quite the opposite in fact, it’s just that there’s a few steps to take before deciding which are the best acne treatments for your acne.

Not everyone has the same acne problem and so the best acne cures for one person may not be the best acne cures for another. Acne attacks different people differently. For some, it’s just a mild attack which will be managed quite satisfactorily with some simple facial cleansing routines. No more required. No need to search out any acne treatments, certainly no need to investigate the best acne treatments.

For others acne can be a serious problem indeed. Acne can be serious enough to produce scars which, if left untreated, can be emotionally and psychologically distressing. These people certainly need active acne intervention, and the best acne treatments available.

How do you know which category you are in? Consult your doctor. It’s not always easy to know whether your acne is a simple passing phase which can be easily controlled, or something which needs serious intervention before it’s too late. And your doctor will tell you the best acne treatments for your individual needs. The best acne treatments for YOU.

And not all acne medications work the same way for everybody. The best acne medications for some people may not work at all for others. This is just the way it is, that’s not restricted to acne medications.

So, often, finding the best acne treatments can be a difficult process. The most highly recommended treatment may not work at all for you, but work well with your best friend. That’s life, you need to move on to try another one until you find the best acne medication that works for you.

And remember that acne isn’t a condition that is cured by a simple application of an acne medication. Acne isn’t cured, it’s controlled, it’s managed. Acne decides for itself when it is finished. Up to then you need to be active in managing it. Once you body says “enough” then it’s over. So the best acne treatments are treatments which need to be continued as necessary. Don’t expect to just apply a treatment and “hey presto” no more acne. Sorry, it’s not that simple.

And adult acne? Which are the best treatments for adult acne? Same answer. It depends. The best treatments for adult acne are the same as the best acne treatments for teenagers. They are the treatments that work for you. After you have seen your doctor, had your acne checked out, tried one or more until you find the one that works, and then settled on that one. Then you’ve found YOUR best acne cure.

And, one final suggestion, don’t buy a suggested acne cure, apply it for a week and expect that your acne will be gone. It’s not that easy. Apply the product for at least 2 or 3 months, or longer as recommended, before you make any judgements. Acne takes a long time to develop, and a long time to control. Even the best acne treatments on the market take quite a while to work. And remember to apply them exactly as recommended.

So, in closing, what are the best acne treatments? See you doctor, then test and try until you find the one for you. Most of them work for some, and none of them work for everyone.

About the Author

Find out more about Acne as well as Acne Cures and adult acne, acne skin care products, the best acne treatments and more at Peter’s website, Acne All Gone.

<link rel='related' href='http://acnefix.blogspot.com' title='Which are the best acne treatments? Since acne is a condition that occurs from within your body and exhibits on the outside of your body, you need to,

§ Attack acne from inside your body
§ Attack acne from outside your body

If your acne is not to severe, all you might need is a good cream and need only to follow a few steps in my 12 step program to get you past the periods where acne is active.

If your acne is more severe, than you may have to follow my 12-step program, since acne is an expression of your whole body system and is a reflection of what is going on inside your mind, cell structure and internal organs.

Acne is an excessive toxic condition within your body, which the internal elimination organs are unable to eliminate. So your toxins are moved into your blood and excreted through your skin. It is an automatic survival mechanism your body initiates in an effort to protect the insides of your body - cells, liquid, blood, organs, and tissues.

There are 12 areas that you need to look at,

§ Keep your face clean
§ Using Scotty's acne face cream or your favorite face cream
§ Relive your constipation and the tree day liquid fast
§ Making changes to your diet
§ Get plenty of sun, air, and water
§ Vitamins you need to be taking
§ Minerals you should be taking
§ Special supplements to take
§ Herbal mixture to use or drink
§ Special detoxifying drinks or supplements to take
§ Brushing your skin
§ Change your attitude

Step 1: Keeping your face clean

If you use face cosmetics, you need to stop. Some cosmetics irritate the skin and can cause acne by plugging up your pores on your face. The cosmetics chemicals that can cause you the most skin and pore irritation and inflammation are:

mineral oil
lanolin
parabens
propylene glycol

Look at the label of the cosmetics you use. You will find that many cosmetics, soaps, and sunscreens contain these chemicals.

Find a water base make up, not an oil base. Find one that does not irritate your face and use it sparingly

When you wash your face don't use any commercial soaps since they are filled with chemicals that will irritate and worsen your acne condition. And don't excessive wash your face as this will dry your skin of the natural protective oil. Also, don't keep touching your face since you spread or add bacteria to it.

To wash your face use only,

§ Castile hand or liquid soap
§ Pure glycerin hand soap

You can pat your face with a clean hot face towel to bring circulation to your face and to help open and move the toxic material, in the pimple, to the surface. Do not scrub hard to burst a pimple but just scrub lightly to burst a pimple when it is ready to open.

Use the hot towel application only 2-3 times per week.

When a pimple is open do not continue to rub or scrub it. In fact do not pick or scratch an open pimple since this could create other sores or leave scars that are difficult to remove. Just washing your face with clean soap will keep your face free of toxic matter.

Keep in mind,

Whatever you put on your skin will move into your skin and into your bloodstream.

Most commercial creams, lotions, and soaps are filled with all kinds of chemicals that are toxic to your body. By using them you are making your liver work harder.

During the day or at night avoid resting your cheeks or chin on your hand(s) or arm(s). This can irritate your face and cause acne to breakout. When you sleep, try to sleep on your back and not with your face or side of the face into your pillow.

There it is. Step 1, shows you how to keep your face clean to avoid getting acne or to help relieve acne.
Rudy Silva has a degree in Physics and is a Natural Nutritionist. Our skin can mirror how we take care of our body. At some point of our lives, it is almost inevitable that we experience having minor forms of skin infections caused by acne like pimples and blackheads. Teenagers are more prone to it as the body undergoes different hormonal changes. As the body continually ages, individuals really have no way of stopping it and can only lessen its effects. By using different methods and acne skin care products people that are more prone to it can control its growth.

Acne skin care products performance can greatly depend on how an individual's skin type reacts to it. It must conform to the skin’s characteristics, which may include skin sensitivity, tone, ethnicity and gender. There are many acne skin care products in the market with different active ingredients and solutions for different skin types. Acne prone skin can be very sensitive to different chemicals and must be very careful in using different products. There are different tips and techniques for mild to severe cases of acnes. Some acne skin care products may not work for some people in helping them improve the look and condition of their skin.

Among the commonly used acne skin care product is the facial cleanser. There are many types of cleansers that can be purchased that are good and gentle for the skin. It is easy to find a cleanser that is made specifically for a person’s skin type. Using a different soap for your face is also important since bath soaps can be harmful to acne-prone individuals. Testing different acne skin care remedies may do more harm than good. Skin toners contain ingredients that can dry skin making it susceptible to acne.

A moisturizer is well recommended for individuals that are using benzoyl peroxide to keep the skin from becoming too dry. After using acne skin care products for treating blemishes, using moisturizers can keep the skin in balance and helps prevent some of the dryness on its initial stages. Benzoyl peroxide can be harmful to some individuals. When it exceeds the reasonable quantity and concentration, it can cause severe swelling and flaking. Testing acne skin care products and starting at lesser amounts of dosage is advised to keep track of your skin’s reaction.

Manual razors are better than electric shavers since it can give you more control as you shave. Quality safety razors are not hard to find, it can make shaving easier. Changing the blade more often can lessen the skin irritation for acne prone individuals. Blunt and uneven blades can cause accidents like cuts. Unclean blades can also infect open scars and pimples. Opening a scar or blemish can cause a secondary bacterial infection and a permanent scar. Using a shaving cream can prevent burns acquired from shaving and it can also reduce the possibility of bacteria from entering cuts.

Aside from acne skin care products you can also rely for health supplements like vitamins. Vitamins A, B6, C and E can be good for acne treatment and are essential for a healthy skin. Being watchful on your diet and sugar intake can also help minimizing acne problems. Foods rich in sulfur like garlic and onions can often be used to cure acne. Consulting a dermatologist for the right acne skin care product can save you the time and effort in reaching the desired results. Skin experts can give you proper advice on how to treat your skin well.

Effective Options for Treating Acne

Effective Acne Treatment Options
Acne is the most prevalent skin disorder that usually first afflicts adolescents. With 70% of the adolescents affected with this skin disorder, it is considered one of the most menacing diseases especially during this transitional period of an adolescent's life since, though it is not fatal, it could cause some serious emotional trouble to a person ridiculed because of his or her flawed complexion. The medical community to help resolve this skin dilemma presents various acne medications and therapeutic methods. Formulation of various medications and solutions are being studied continuously to finally come up with the most effective acne treatment. But the question is, which among these medications is or are really effective acne treatments? Here's a rundown of the various acne treatments that claim to be successful in dealing with the troubles of acne according to the type or severity of acne:Mild or juvenile acne. This type of acne, also known as teenage zits, may be treated with over-the-counter (OTC) topical medicines available in drugstores. They are considered to be easiest to treat. Some prescription topical medicines can also be effective acne treatments. They include antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, adapalene and tretinoin. These acne treatments help stunt the growth of bacteria and reduce inflammation. Depending on the skin type of the person, a doctor will prescribe the appropriate effective acne treatment. For instance, if one has an oily skin, creams and lotions will not be advised since they are oil-based medications. Gels and solutions will suit more the oily skin since they are usually alcohol-based and tend to dry the skin. These medications are often subject to testing first before one could really consider them as effective acne treatments for their skin problem. On a case-by-case basis, side effects from topical medicines may surface. These side effects may include rashes, stinging, redness, burning, scaling and discoloration. Moderate to severe acne. Those with oily skin and have had mild acne (often in their late teens or early twenties) may find it may worsen into a moderate condition of acne. Moderate severity is often characterized with the presence of more whiteheads and redness on the affected spots due to the vessels rupture. Severe acne is when acne has already reached the entire face, back and neck of the person. Usually severe acne conditions translate to bigger spots. This kind of acne is often treated with oral antibiotics. Oral means taking them by mouth. These effective acne treatments work by curbing the reproduction of bacteria and reducing inflammation. With dealing with moderate to severe acne conditions, a combination of prescription topical medications and oral acne medications may be combined. Some topical medications like sulphur drug preparations are considered extremely effective acne treatments. Sulphur has a peeling effect on the skin, thus loosens it and dislodges the blackheads from the pores. Sulphur, as an effective acne treatment, has no known major side effects. But still, it is always advised to test any medication before applying or taking them. Most of us have carried this burden in our teenage years and after almost seven teenage years we think we are finally safe. Then one morning in your twenty fifth, twenty sixth ,twenty seventh or even twenty eighth year of your existence you wake up with a huge ugly zit on you face. And even worst, sometimes it is not just one or two but even three or four! And they just keep on sprouting like weeds in an uninhibited garden! So you wonder, I’m already an adult so WHY, WHY, WHY?Adult acne is more common than we thought. Almost 5 percent of adults have adult acne mostly in their twenties, thirties and forties and even beyond. Adult acne can be found in the face and sometimes even on the neck and on the chest and back area. There are many reasons for the occurrence of these devils incarnates and we will enumerate them here plus ways on how to outsmart them.Adult Acne Source Number 1: those damn hormones. And we all thought we are done with having problems caused by them! Apparently, they still have a last attack. Experts still can’t pinpoint the main reason why our oil glands are more prone to breakouts because of hormonal shifts in this age line. Unfortunately, these up and down hormonal shifts are the main culprit in adult acne. But fortunately, there’s an easy cure for these shifts and that is the common birth control pill. But TAKE NOTE that this is not applicable to you if you are pregnant. For stubborn and hard to kill zits, you may also use medication that has the ingredient retinoids that can help unclog those pores. If still doesn’t work then it’s high time to up your ammo. Use antibiotics (may be topical or even oral) to reduce the swelling. Adult Acne Source Number 2: stress. Stress is also a major source of adult acne. But we can’t help it, can we? Our world is full of stress inducing situation and things that it is already a part of our daily lives. We have bills to pay, kids to feed and a house to clean. So much stress we endure in a day that it results to the dreaded adult acne. This happens because stress triggers the body to secrete cortisol that results in the secretion of more hormones thus resulting to zits. So what do we do when the bump pops? Relax! Do some de-stressing. Go on a holiday or just spend a day doing nothing. Eat right, sleep right and do your exercise routine regularly. If your darn zits are still there after doing these things for a month or two then it is high time to see your dermatologist for some treatment and prescription. Adult Acne Source Number 3: Daily Grooming Products. It is a fact that as we grow older we tend to become more vain especially in our twenties to thirties when we are still finding our ideal mate. We tend to use a lot of products to make ourselves more attractive to the opposite sex. Unfortunately, this only results to adult acne as these products tend to block pores which can result to zits erupting like crazy in our pretty little faces. How ironic, isn’t it? We bought and used these products to make ourselves more pretty only to have these little craters embed in our face. So what to do? Simplify! You don’t need all these products to make yourself pretty. Just use basics like moisturizer, cleanser and sun block. Purchase cosmetics that are noncomedogenic and make sure that they are oil free especially your moisturizer. And always remember your acne 101: do not touch your face or rest your pretty little chin in your grubby little hands!

Acne Skin Care

Acne Skin Care for You!
A high percentage of individuals have been tortured by skin problems like blemishes, rashes, pimples, blackheads and acne. These problems are commonly experienced during puberty or an early stage in life where people tend to be most socially fragile. Aside from being physical, the effects can also be psychological. It can drain an individual’s self-esteem and confidence. Some individuals may continue experiencing acne related skin infections many years later and it may eventually diminish during early adulthood for most people. There is now way of predicting when it will gradually decrease or fully disappear. Pimples, blackheads, and blemishes are among the most common skin infections caused by acne. The infection is a result of excessive secretions of oil from the skin glands and its buildup when a pore is blocked. Upper regions of the body like the face, chest, back and upper arms are commonly infected. Acne can be irritating for most people since it can almost be unpredictable and uncontrollable once it strikes. The exact causes of this skin disease are not known and there have been no guaranteed measure in averting it. diet, hereditary reasons, vitamin deficiency and stress are among the factors that have been closely attributed to acne infections. Still, it is best to find a good acne skin care regimen to ease and control its growth. An average person can make use of typical acne skin care methods. For severe forms of acne, consulting a dermatologist is advisable in finding ways to lessen swelling and prevent scarring.Perhaps the best acne skin care regimen is to regularly wash your skin twice a day. Using a mild natural facial cleanser and warm water in washing your skin regularly can help remove dirt and pollutants. Using strong detergent soaps and scrubbing your skin can only worsen your acne problems. Too much scrubbing can aggravate acne and it can also open up blemishes. Popping pimples can make the blemishes to spread up causing more infection. Some astringents are too strong and can cause more skin irritation. Using astringents are only advisable for oily skin. Washing your hair regularly can also help in acne skin care. Washing hair, especially long ones, can help remove excess oil and dirt that might come in contact with the skin. Proper acne skin care also involves shaving and using the right razor. Choosing and testing for a comfortable safety razor is important when you have acne. Before applying the shaving cream, the beard can be softened by washing it with soap and water. Using a sharp blade and shaving lightly helps avoid cuts and rupturing pimples. Many acne skin care products and medicines for treating skin diseases can make your skin more prone to sunburn. Exposing your skin for a while to the sun may help dry up acne blemishes in the surface. Too much exposure to the sun can cause rapid skin aging, skin cancer and can make your skin drier.Individuals that are prone to acne and are being treated for it should use oil free cosmetic products. Benzoyl peroxide and other acne skin care treatment can redden the skin so applying regular cosmetics products might not be helpful. Regular cosmetic products usually contain more fatty acids that are harmful to acne prone individuals. Looking for organic and acne skin care products that will match your skin tone can help avoid more infections. It is still best that one should consult a dermatologist before applying any acne skin care product or using different methods. Making more of an effort is needed for serious cases of acne infection to keep it from recurring. Observing advice on proper acne skin care is important especially for younger individuals since blemishes and rashes tend to heal faster at a young age. Keeping a healthy lifestyle and diet can help restore the body’s vitality easily.

A Teenagers Guide to Treating Acne

Acne is truly one of the big worries faced and most feared by teenagers anywhere around the world. It is primarily a disorder of the sebaceous gland (glands in the skin that secrete an oily substance) of the face, the neck and back. When the sebaceous glands become clogged with the oily substance they create, the accumulation results in pimples. There are several forms of acne, but the most common is acne vulgaris, found primarily in adolescents.

The exact cause of acne is not known, but factors that contribute to this condition include heredity, oily skin and androgens. Additional factors include allergies, stress, the use of certain drugs, nutritional deficiencies, liver dysfunction, exposure to industrial pollutants, cosmetics and the monthly menstrual cycle.

In addition, the skin functions to eliminate a portion of the body’s toxic waste by sweating. If the body contains more toxins than the kidneys or liver can effectively discharge, the skin takes over. In fact, some doctors call the skin the 3rd kidney. As toxins escape through the skin, they can disrupt the health and integrity of the skin, creating issues.

Recommendations for Wellness

Note: Some of these recommendations may take 2-4 weeks before any results or improvements are experienced.

Apply distilled white vinegar (can be diluted if too strong) to the face and affected areas. Allow this to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off with cool water.

Lemon or any citric fruit works great as a natural exfoliate, removing dead skin cells that may clog the pours. As with the white vinegar, apply the juice of a lemon (or desired citric juice) to the face. Allow it to dry for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cool water. You may feel a mild sting or burn when the lemon juice is applied. If so, diluting the juice is acceptable.

Increase water consumption. Water helps flush toxin out and help transport nutrients in the body.

Eat a properly balanced diet to ensure proper nutrition.

Take a high quality multiple vitamin and mineral supplement to make up for nutrients missing in today’s foods.

Echinacea or Oregon grape can be used to boost the immune system and fight acne-causing bacteria.

Dandelion, Burdock or red clover can help to keep the liver clear of toxic overload.

Herbal combinations such as Natures Sunshine's Ayurvedic Skin Detox and BP-X can also be used to cleanse and detoxify the liver and reduce acne.

Historically, large quantities of vitamin A have been successfully used to treat severe acne. Large amounts, however, can be toxic and should be used when working with your health care provider.

Consider adding additional zinc to your diet. Zinc aids in the healing of tissues and assists in preventing scarring. It is also important for the body in resisting infection and inflammation.

To clear and heal the skin, try a homeopathic Acne remedy. It can help to dry up pimples & prevent future outbreaks

Do you suffer from a chronic medical condition that defies diagnosis? I don't! and I bet you don't also want your smooth skin be marked for life because of that acne. Having acne is such a great humiliation to many people, what more if ultimately it turned out to be a scar? That's much more humiliating I guess!

Scars that are obtained from having acne can be on your skin forever. Acne scar removal is the only way to bring back the lost glow in your skin. But how? Are there products for acne scar removal? Or maybe other ways that can help remove those scars?

Technology now is much more advance than before. Most of the technology advancements are used in medical practices. Almost everything can be solved by technology, even Acne Scar removal. And now with these advancements, one medical breakthrough was presented to the people in the year 2003. The Nlite Laser treatment. This is an acne scar removal treatment that uses energy to tone down acne. This treatment is said to be free from pain. This therapy may not be appropriate to all patients but many can still gain advantage from this. The process of this treatment was described by some patients to have a yellow laser light pulsate unto the skin of the affected area with high intensity rates. This acne scar removal treatment is very rapid, lasting only for about thirty minutes. This acne scar removal treatment works by killing the bacteria deep inside the skin as the laser energy infiltrate through the layers of the skin. Most of the patients that went through this acne removal treatment have observed expanded enhancement within three to six months. Basically, this is how Nlite laser treatment works. Almost half the acne was diminished in the patients of this acne scar removal treatment. This is because it really kills the bacteria that once was present in your skin. These bacteria are those who are to be blamed for the infections you had that led to the development of blemishes in your skin.

This acne scar removal, the Nlite Laser treatment, is surely a great help for those who are very troubled by their acne scars. Although the cost of this treatment is not yet definite, expect that this acne scar removal will be very costly. But if you have the money to spend on this kind of treatment, then why not try it! If you see a topic that you are interested in, just click on the link and you will be able to read that information.

To begin, we would like to introduce you to what we call, Acne 101.

Everybody gets it; everybody hates it. It is the bane of a person’s existence. And once you have it, prepare to be tormented, embarrassed and humiliated. Such a small blot, so much at stake. So what is this outrageous little bundle ? What else but the dreaded pimple!

A pimple, or acne as some people call it, is a dreaded red, swollen bump in the skin . Nobody is spared from having it. Male or female, American, Chinese or Spanish, they all have gotten it at some points of their lives and may even still have it. It is like a universal blight; it is like a right of passage in a person’s life. Acne is a result of the hormones action on the skin's sebaceous glands (the oil glands) which leads to clogged pores and outbreak of lesions like pimples, blemishes or acne. Acne commonly occurs in the face, back, neck, shoulders and chest because the sebaceous glands are most abundant in these locations. But the important question we should be asking to be able to avoid this dreaded “disease” is, “What causes this pain in the neck called acne?”

The root causes of acne cannot really be determined unfortunately, (unless your parents or their parents are acne afflicted too then there’s a big, big chance you’ll be called acne face by your peers and classmates) thus the acne myths are born! These myths claim to be the cause of acne. We shall outline them here.

Acne Myth Number 1

Acne is caused by not washing your face often and not scrubbing it hard enough. Many believed that acne is caused by dirt and dust in the face and by washing your face two-three even four or more times a day or even that scrubbing your face hard can prevent acne. Wrong, very wrong, really wrong! It is true that dirt and dust is unsightly to the face and washing the face is the way to eradicate them but washing often can actually irritate the skin more. Washing should not be done more than twice a day. More than twice is enough to strip the face of its natural oils making it dry. Also, be advised, scrubbing can cause inflammations. Washing the face should be done as gently as possible with the gentlest facial scrub.

Acne Myth Number 2

Improper Diet can cause acne. Certain foods that are oily like French fries and junk food can cause acne to erupt in our face. But scientific studies have not discovered any connection between these two. So this means that it is not food that causes acne. Though a proper and healthy diet is always good for our system, eating like a pig won’t make pimples a permanent resident in your face. So when it comes to acne, feel free to eat your favorite Potato Chips, Cheesies, French fries and chocolates anytime.

Acne Myth Number 3

When you’re stressed acne tends to pop on your face like popcorn . Not true. Stress is a part of our daily lives and believe it or not it is not a contributing factor to the acne appearing in your face. Only severe stress treated by the doctor MAY cause acne to erupt only as a side effect of the drugs a person may be taking.
